Tanoa Tusitala and the Perimeter Relay

In the early hours of 1 November, two Tanoa Tusitala teams took on the Perimeter Relay from Siumu to Tanoa Tusitala Hotel. A challenge that demanded real stamina, focus and teamwork.

The first group began their run at 12:30 a.m., with the second team following at 3:45 a.m. Each team of six worked through tough stretches and long, dark hours, pushing themselves physically and mentally to reach the finish.

Participants described the relay as one of the most challenging experiences they’ve faced. Even so, they met it head-on, supported throughout by colleagues, friends and the wider Tusitala family who kept spirits high along the route.

We were also pleased to have Steve Brown, Project Manager from our New Zealand head office and Dennis Manning from Tanoa Waterfront Fiji, join the teams for the event.

What stood out most was the sense of discipline, collaboration and quiet determination shown by every runner. The relay became a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people commit, support one another and see a challenge through to the end.
