To-Sua Ocean Trench
One of Samoa’s most extraordinary natural wonders — and one of the most photographed places in the Pacific. Located on the southeast coast of Upolu, approximately 50km from Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, To-Sua translates as ‘giant swimming hole.’
30 metres deep and fed by a cave connecting to the ocean, the trench offers crystal-clear water teeming with tropical fish. Accessible via a sturdy wooden ladder, with a children’s rock pool, blowholes, lava fields and a small beach nearby. Perfect for weddings, photo shoots and celebrations.
