Leading with Integrity

On 11 September, Tanoa Hotel Group proudly launched the first module of its new leadership programme at Tanoa Waterfront Hotel. This workshop brought together leaders from every level of the organisation, including Hotel General Managers, Team Leaders and emerging talents, reflecting our commitment to nurturing people across the Group.

We were honoured to have Mr. Pita Nacuva, former Speaker of Parliament and celebrated Fiji rugby player, officiate the opening. Drawing on his distinguished career in sport and politics, Mr. Nacuva spoke on the theme of integrity in leadership. Through personal stories, he reminded us that leadership is not about titles or accolades but about remaining true to one’s values, especially in moments of pressure. His words were a powerful reminder that integrity is the foundation of trust, both within our teams and with the wider communities we serve.

The workshop also spotlighted voices from Generation Z, who shared their own views on leadership, responsibility, and the future of hospitality. Their participation added fresh perspectives and underscored the importance of preparing the next generation to carry the Tanoa legacy forward.
