Going Beyond with Tanoa Tusitala Hotel

On Tuesday, 19 August 2025, the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel family stepped out of their uniforms and into the community, joining hands for a cause bigger than themselves. To mark World Humanitarian Day, 25 staff members dedicated their time and energy to the Campus of Hope, a home to children cared for by the Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG).

The initiative wasn’t just a celebration, it aligned with Samoa’s national clean-up campaign to fight the Dengue Fever outbreak, making the effort both timely and impactful. Led by Human Resources Manager, Toto MolimauFeaii, and Operations Manager, Roneeta Devi, the team spent the day cleaning and refreshing the Campus of Hope. Their goal was simple —to create a safer, cleaner and more welcoming space for the children who live there.

For many staff, the experience was more than just a clean-up. It was a chance to step outside daily routines and see firsthand the power of teamwork in a new setting.

As one staff member put it, “It was fulfilling and fun. It reminded us how much good we can do together outside the workplace.”

For Tanoa Hotel, this wasn’t just volunteering, it was a powerful expression of the values that guide their hospitality. Care, service and community spirit. By giving back to the children of the Campus of Hope, the team celebrated World Humanitarian Day in a way that was both meaningful and memorable.

“We sincerely acknowledge Tanoa Hotel for embodying the true spirit of humanity through service, compassion, and community care. Your support not only cleanses the environment of the Campus and protects the children from the Dengue outbreak, but also uplifts their spirits. Most importantly, it reminds them that they are never alone, and that there are always caring hearts willing to stand beside them.”
