To-Sua Ocean Trench
To-Sua means “giant swimming hole”, and it’s exactly that. It’s on the southeast coast of Upolu, about 50km from the hotel.
The trench is 30m deep and fed by a cave that runs out to the ocean, with clear water and plenty of fish. A sturdy wooden ladder takes you down to the water. Nearby there’s a children’s rock pool, blowholes, lava fields and a small beach.

Discovery Fishing Charters
Troll for marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi and Spanish mackerel. The fishing grounds are within 10 minutes of leaving Apia harbour.
Charters go out for a half day or a full day.
