Tanoa Hotels Village Initiative 2025

In early 2025, the People and Performance team at Tanoa Hotels launched a meaningful outreach initiative in Lomolomo Village, engaging with local youth to inspire growth, confidence and foster clear career paths.

As a result of this initiative, nine promising individuals have been selected to join the Tanoa Operational Development Programme, affectionately known as the Village Initiative.

This transformative programme provides participants with a strong foundation in hotel operations, equipping them with the essential skills needed to pursue successful careers in the hospitality industry. Upon completion, graduates will have the opportunity to join the workforce at any of the renowned Tanoa Hotels across Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.

The initiative pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the late Mr. YP Reddy, visionary founder of the Reddy Group, whose unwavering belief in uplifting communities through opportunity continues to shape the organisation’s values. His passion for people, education and empowerment remains a driving force behind Tanoa Hotels’ community-focused initiatives.

Through the Village Initiative, Tanoa Hotels proudly continues his legacy, creating opportunities for young people, fostering sustainable development and reaffirming its commitment to corporate social responsibility.
