Diving & Snorkelling

You can go diving and snorkelling from Rakiraki and Nananu-i-Ra, an island about 1.5 km off the coast.

The spectacular reefs of Nananu-i-Ra have some superb dive and snorkeling sites, especially further out in the Bligh Waters. There's coral and plenty of colourful fish, as well as sea snakes on the island’s northern side. Snorkelling trips to the outer reefs depart from Ellington Wharf.
