The Tanoa Hotel Group supports the Giant Poppy Art Project

The Giant Poppy Art Project is the brainchild of commissioned artist Tony McNeight who set out to create a meaningful opportunity, where everyone could be involved in commemorating the ANZAC spirit this year.

A Giant Poppy Art Installation will be created by the artist and his team on the sports fields beside the Auckland Museum (NZ) to commemorate ANZAC Day and WW1 centenary - giving everyone in Auckland, nationwide, and all expats an opportunity to pay their respects to those who protected our freedom and democracy.

It will be created over 10 days before ANZAC DAY, April 25th 2015 and will be completed by ANZAC DAY so it can go worldwide.

The cost to build the project is $150,000 so the money donated will go towards this cost.  If you would like to donate please go to giantpoppy.co.nz now.
